Lachlan’s Layout Lachlan’s uses the historic Old Government House Garrison Building and a fabulous large permanent air conditioned garden marquee for restaurant, events and functions of all kinds. Entrance to the Garrison Building is usually through the long garrison verandah. It is also popular for special functions for guests to arrive with a Grand Entrance along the front carriageway of Old Government House and through the National Trust museum for drinks in the large sandstone courtyard before sitting for dinner in the marquee or rooms.
