WEDDING CEREMONIES and GRAND
ENTRANCE
You can have your wedding
ceremony here in the grounds of Old Government House.
Imagine the setting with the long red arrival carpet, chairs
and guest waiting in anticipation and wedding certificate
signing table clothed and flounced to the ground as you
drive up the carriageway ready for your ceremony.
The photo opportunities are
fabulous.
-
The most popular location is
on the front portico of Old Government House followed by
a Grand Entrance arriving through the National Trust
museum for pre dinner drinks in the large sandstone
courtyard.
-
It is also popular to have a
ceremony under the Jacarandah trees or by the tall
eucalypts with views through the park to the river
beyond.
If you love the history that
surrounds us here at Old Government House ask about about a
Grand Entrance. Whether you plan your ceremony here or not,
you and your guests can arrive up the long carriageway at
the front of the house, be greeted on the front portico and
then arrive through the house to start your reception. |
